PropertySmartSG is built to make public Singapore property market data easier to understand. This page explains the privacy basics for the website and iOS app.

Scope

This policy covers PropertySmartSG.com and the official PropertySmartSG iOS app. The website and app do not use every service in the same way. The app privacy policy explains the current iOS behavior in detail.

Information we collect

PropertySmartSG does not require an account to browse project, district, HDB resale, rental, or sales data. We use lightweight analytics to understand which pages and tools are useful, improve performance, and monitor search-led growth.

The iOS app stores saved projects, districts and HDB areas locally on the device. Calculator inputs are processed locally, and search text is matched against locally cached data where possible. The app does not require an account or cloud profile.

Usage data

Hosting and security providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and bot or abuse signals. This helps keep the site available, secure, and fast.

When the iOS app downloads public JSON from PropertySmartSG, our server, CDN and security providers may process the IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp and security signals. This supports file delivery, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

The iOS 1.0 app does not include third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, crash reporting or consent.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate usage, page performance, popular pages, traffic sources, and calculator engagement. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to distinguish visits and provide reporting. We do not use Google Analytics to collect account data, payment data, or property purchase decisions.

Google advertising cookies

Selected website pages may display ads provided by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's previous visits to PropertySmartSG or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to PropertySmartSG and other sites on the internet. Visitors can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Google also explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.

Other certified advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers when serving or measuring ads. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies and the choices available through the consent message or browser settings.

Website advertising and the iOS app

Website advertising is limited to selected editorial guides. Property, district, HDB, landed, search, policy and app-support pages are not offered as advertising inventory.

The iOS 1.0 app does not show ads. It does not ask for permission to track activity across other companies' apps or websites, and it does not include SKAdNetwork IDs.

Third-party services

The website uses Cloudflare for hosting, security and analytics, Google Analytics for website measurement, and Google AdSense on selected editorial pages. The iOS app uses Apple services for distribution and MapKit for maps. Both products use official public data sources for property information.

Your choices

You can use the website and app without creating an account. Website cookies and analytics can be limited through browser settings, and personalized Google advertising can be disabled through Google Ads Settings. You can remove the app's locally stored saves, cached data and preferences by deleting the app.

This policy may be updated as the product adds features. The latest version will be posted on this page.
